Following a fracture or dislocation of a joint, you may have been in plaster or immobile for a long period of time. This will cause soft tissues to tighten and joints to become stiff, painful and difficult to use.
Cheshire Home Physio will help to mobilise the soft tissue, strengthen, and regain full range of movement around the affected areas, within the privacy of your own home. We will plan and set goals for you to challenge yourself to recover full function as quickly as possible and return to normal life.

You may want to get involved in the rehabilitation of your friend or relative and would like advice on the best way to do this.
Joint Pain and Stiffness
You will be assessed in the privacy of your own home in order to establish a diagnosis. You will then be helped to rehabilitate fully with various physiotherapy treatment modalities aimed to reduce pain and stiffness.
Optimisation During and After Cancer Treatment
Whilst receiving treatment for cancer or following treatment, you may experience various changes in your physical condition such as loss of strength and balance, fatigue, shortness of breath, pathological fractures, or difficulty managing daily activities.
Cheshire Home Physio has a thorough understanding of cancer and its treatment and can advise you on how to maintain physical ability or minimise its loss during this time. Some conventional physiotherapy is unsuitable for those with cancer. However, there are many alternative remedies and Cheshire Home Physiotherapists have considerable expertise in providing appropriate and effective treatment.
